Experience gong songs for deep relaxation. In addition, accept an optional invitation to activate your own inner healer through joining in sacred chant. (You can sing or keep resting and let the sound current wash over you.)

During this 1-1/2 hour session you will be invited to prepare for a deep relaxation where you can listen to the healing sound current of the gong. Then choose to keep resting while listening, or join in to chant a few sacred songs: the poetry of the Sikh gurus.

Song sheet (with translations) will be provided. Please dress in warm layers and bring 1-2 blankets and/or a mat to lie down upon. You may also want to bring a water bottle. This is a sober event (sober, not somber!) $25 per/person.

Lelania Harpal Kaur Avila (she/we/tributary) builds community through healing arts. A scholar of sacred poetic languages, she extends a gentle invitation to explore restoration through sound current experiences. As a multi-media artist, she balances rest and play with work and community engagement. She’s a licensed Inner Field Trip® Navigator, certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, and creator of two books of poetry, including An Abecedarian Reflection: Parenting Through Childhood Cancer.  She playfully approaches challenges, utilizing the guidance of emotions to tune into inner wisdom.
